Further Notes

Assistantship - Although there is no record of Tuckey's election to the Court he was appointed on 14 Jan 1668 one of the four auditors of Crook's Accounts, the others being Stephens, Tibbes, and Roper, the latter two of whom had been elected to the Court as recently as 6 Aug and 12 Nov 1667. Tuckey then attended the Court Twelve times between 11 Feb and 18 Nov 1668, but never thereafter, and when he approached the Court about mortgaging his English Stock share on 20 Nov 1672 it was clearly not as a member. ---
