STOUGHTON (ROBERT), printer in London, seems only to have printed between the years 1548 and 1551 during which time he issued about fourteen books. His place of business was in Ludgate at the sign of the Bishop's Mitre. The will of a Robert Stoughton dated 1553 was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
