SHEFELDE (JOHN), bookseller in London, commissioned Nicholas Hill { HILL, Nicholas ( - 1557) ‹ LBT 28420 › } to print for him John Chrysostom's Sermon of pacience in 1550. The colophon runs "Imprinted at London ... by Nicolas Hyll, for John Shefelde, dwelling in Pauls church yarde." He probably died before 1557 for his name does not appear in, the list of members of the Stationers' Company.
