SERES (WILLIAM), junior. Assigns of, 1578-1603. William Seres , junior, the son of William Seres { SERES, William ( - 1580) ‹ LBT 08396 › }, senior, was joined with his father in the patent for printing The Psalter of David, the Primer for little children, with the Catechisme and Books of Private prayers. He did not follow the trade of a stationer, although he was "clothed," in other words admitted to the Livery of the Company, on June 30th, 1578 [Arber, ii. 865]. He appointed as his assigns Henry Denham { DENHAM, Henry ‹ LBT 08578 › } and Ralph Newbery { NEWBERRY, Ralph ( - 1603) ‹ LBT 08123 › } [Arber, i. III, 116].
