Further Notes
Renter Wardenship - On 26 Mar 1657 Rounthwaite, pleading poverty, had been excused the senior Renter Wardenship, though at the price of his seniority in the Company. Presumably he subsequently found the means to fine. --- Assistantship - On 1 Mar 1659 the Court considered electing Rounthwaite and two others, but decided that "the number of Assistants yet remaining alive [was] sufficient". ---
