Apprentice with William Powell { POWELL, William ‹ LBT 08269 › } in 1556, and made a freeman of the Company during the year ending July loth, 1559 [Arber, i. 41, 98]. l\fade his first entry in the Registers in the year ending July, 1563 [Arber, i. 200]. Dealt chiefly in ballads. His last entry occurs on August 5th, 1590 [Arber, ii. 557].
