Further Notes
Newman's Bankruptcy was reported in the "London Gazette" of 24-27 Sep 1694 and after it he was presumably no longer summoned to the Court. Dunton speaks of him as still alive ---. He is also included as a non-poling liveryman in the London pollbook for the general election of Oct 1710, by which time he was close to 70, but thereafter he disappears from view. ---
