Newbery, A.Le B. (1911), p.76 - wuoting Mary Newbery's "Memoirs" - 1817 Francis Newbery's illness began; 1818 - left Heathfield for the last time with him very ill, never left his room after Apr 13th;---and on Jul 17th he departed this life, and was buried at Heathfield August 14th
