Further Notes

Nevill appears to have "run away" whilst Master of Hood. A reversal of the usual situation! A note explains that Hood could not be turned-over to Penny at the first attempt on 11 Aug 1737 and that he was discharged from Nevill's service and turned-over on 6 Jun 1738. ---
