DUFF, E.G. (1905), p.96

LYNNELL (RICHARD), stationer in London, is first mentioned in 1563 when he presented an apprentice before the Stationers' Company. His name does not occur in the charter, but as it is not found in the lists of those made free after its passing he must have been a freeman before, many who were freemen at the time having been omitted.
