1797-11-23 | PRO - Bookseller and Stationer of Aldgate, City of London. --- Copy - mlt - Aldgate in the City of London Bookseller and Stationer - body to be buried in the plainest manner - £1200 to William Tayler of Warwick Court in trust for the benefit of wife - after her death to be divided between two daughters - Frances Mary and Mary Ann - either wer dead before his wife and had issue that share to go to the issue. - Shares of Copy Right of printed Books - two now I have a thirty second Share of Enticks English Spelling Dictionary and a small Share of Chambers Dictionary of Arts and Sciences to William Tayler in trust for wife's benefit - after her death to the daughters. - of William Tayler - 'may most valued friend' - ring and watch - insignificant but very grateful marks of my esteem - in return for a long and uniform friendship which has always been the pride and honour often the only solace of my life Witnesses - John Poulden & Arthur Larkin Codicil - Sunday 28 Feb 1796 - 'that I have with my own hand erased or blotted out the name of my unworth son Philip Sherard Piguenit (LBT/16345) from this my last Will and Testament and that I do give and bequeath to my said son one Shilling only in lieu of alll claim on my Estater or Effects' - same witnesses. --- |
