MLT Note: Maxted, I (1977) lists a Philip Benn - "Livery Scrivener's Co. by 1792" for whom an entry is give at (LBT/02901). However, it could well be this same man - Maxted also gives the address as Threadneedle St., and says he was "succ. By Edward Culsha" by 1803. This was the address of (LBT/21355), and Culsha was his apprentice, he also died around 1801 see will. ---
