7 Oct 1717 - C.B. = It being proposed by Mr.Daniel Brown (one of the Members of this Court) that his Son Jonas who Dwells out of the Freedom of this City and there follows the Trade of a Bookseller But was not Free of this company would take up his Freedom and Accept of the clothing and pay his Livery and Renter Wardens Fines forthwith Provided that this Court would Order that he should be Elected into the next £40 share that should fall after Christmas next and into the next £80 Share that shall fall after Christmas come Twelve month The Court upon Mature Deleveracon Agreed thereto and Ordered it Accordingly. He was therefore Admitted into the Freedom elected on the Clothing he accepted thereof and promised to pay the usual Fines for Livery and Renter Warden. ---
