Treadwell Notes - fo Wandsworth, Surrey, gent. To be buried at Dunchurch Warwick by his dear father. Wants lines added to the monument he has raised to his father, other details of burial left to his dear wife Dorothy. To brother-in-law John Bennett of Coventry & Mr.Thomas Palmer of Coventry, glover & rector and wardens of Dunchurch £600 to erect and endow almshouses in Dunchurch. To wife Dorothy and her heirs all my estate lying in King St Westminster, commonly call Clinkards Court which is her jointure. To her also the houses in Puddle Dock which he holds from Kings College Cambs. (see Fire Court), also stock in Stationers Hall, also copyhold of his house in Wandsworth which he is living in now, having given up his house in city. Also to her all his rights present and to come in Kings Printing House in Blackfriars. His wife also gets all his personal estate - she to pay £100 p.a. to his sister Ruth Frankland. And to pay his uncle Edward Newcombe £20 p.a. £10 for mourning to sister Ruth Frankland, her daughter Ruth Frankland, to uncle Edward Newcombe, to uncle John Mayo, to sister Anne Bennett and her husband, to cousin Hannah Fitch and her husband, to cousin Du Pree and her husband, to kinsman John Mayo jur., to Mother-in=law Mrs.Dorothy King and husband. To kinswoman Mary Kidder £50. To Richard Necombe whom I have put out to apprenticeship £50 to be paid when he has successfully completed his time. To loving friend Mr.Herringman, Mr.Brewster, Mr Charles Bill - a ring each. To the poor of Wandsworth, of Dunchurch, and of the Savoy precinct £5 each. To loving friends John Lilly of Cliffords Inn gent, Thomas Welham Deputy Registrar of the Perogqative Court of Conterbury, John Williams of the Kings Printing Office Blackfriars £20 each to help his wife who is to be sole executor.
