KIRKHAM (HENRY), bookseller in London, 1570-93; The Black Boy at the Middle North Door of St. Paul's Church. Henry Kirkham was presented as an apprentice by William Martin for seven years from March 25th, 1561 [Arber, i. 148]. There is no entry of his admission to the freedom of the Company. He appears to have dealt principally in ballad literature. He died hefore March 5th, 1592/3, leaving a son William { KYRKHAM, William ‹ LBT 07954 › } [Arber, ii, 712].
