LATHUM (ROGER), printer in London, is mentioned by Herbert [I, 500] as follows "Dwelt in the Old Bailey. The only piece Mr Ames saw of his printing is intitled A grammer of the Latin tounge, 4°. 1535, among the late Earl of Oxford's books. I do not find it in the Bibl. Harleiana." There is howevera smallundated tract in the Bodleian entitled Parvulorum institutio ex Stanbrigiana collectione with the colophon "Imprynted at London in the olde Eayly. By me Roger Lathum" and this may very well be the piece to which Ames refers. Nothing else of this printer is known.
