KEMPEN (ZACHARIAS), bookbinder in London, was an assistant to H. Singleton { SINGLETON, Hugh ‹ LBT 08452 › }. He is entered in the register of the Dutch Church 1550-60 as living by the "Staelhof in griet Alderheleghen," that is the Steelyard in Thames Street, where Singleton lived at the Double Hood.
