Further Notes

Under Wardenship - As Under Warden Hills did not resign on 26 Mar 1684 along with other members of the Court. He was confirmed by the New Charter. --- Mastership - The removals of 3 Oct 1687 necessitated new elections in which Hills was chosen Master for the remainder of the year. --- - The 27 Nov 1688 restoration of the Court ot its 26 Mar 1684 form led to new elections in which Hills was replaced as Master by John Towse. He subsequently fled the country, dying about a year later at St Omer. ---
