HARRISON (MARTHA), bookseller in London; Lamb. East end of Paul's, 1649-57. Probably widow of John Harrison, { HARRISON, John ( - 1652) ‹ LBT 07643 › }and mother of John Harrison, junr., { HARISON, John ‹ LBT 12945 › }. On July 13th, 1649, a warrant was issued by the Council of State for the apprehension of Martha Harrison and Francis Heldersham, { HELDERSHAM, Francis ‹ LBT 30502 › }, for printing and publishing a seditious libel called Pragmaticus.
