Goadby appears to have originally be a member of the Founders' Company - see McK 3, #3289 for a note under his apprentice Joseph Towers - "His Master being then a Member of that Company, but being afterwards translated to the Company of Stationers with his Children and Apprentices the said Towers becomes intitled to his Freedom in this Company ---" ---
