Further Notes

Upper Wardenship - on 13 Apr 1626 Filman wrote requesting "to have a new warden Chosen in his place and in respect of great losses he hath had this yeare to be exempted from further Chardg". The Court agreed to the exemption, but failed to find a new Upper Warden and Gilman apparently finished out the year. ---
