GARDENER (LAWRENCE). stationer of London, 1578-89. Took up his freedom in the Company of Stationers on June 25th, 1578 [Arber, ii. 677]. He is found taking apprentices between November 6th, 1581 and March 3rd, 1589 [Arber, ii. 108, 156]. He was perhaps a relative of Leonard Gardener { GARDENER, Leonard ‹ LBT 07484 › }. There is no evidence that he published books nor has his place of business been found.
