FOOKES or FOWKES (THOMAS), stationer of London, 1585-94; Fleet Street. Only known from his will dated September 25th, 1600, and proved on October 15th in the same year. It gives no details as to his business. He may be identical with the Thomas Fowkes, stationer of London, who was taking apprentices between 1585 and 1594.
