ENGLAND (NICHOLAS), stationer in London, was an original member of the Company of Stationers, although his name is not mentioned in the charter. He lived in Paternoster Row, and published books from 1558 to 1568, employing the presses of H. Sutton { SUTTON, Henry ( - 1581) ‹ LBT 08527 › }, J. Day { DAY, John (1522 - 1584) ‹ LBT 07316 › }, J. Kingston { KINGSTON, John ‹ LBT 02596 › }, R. Hall { HALL, Roland ( - 1563) ‹ LBT 00123 › }, and H. Bynneman { BYNNEMAN, Henry (1542 - 1583) ‹ LBT 07678 › }. He published at least twelve books, and is last mentioned in the Stationers' Registers in 1568-9.
