Treadwell, M - Notes 15 Jan 1673 - Mathias Drew. To Master and Wardens - petition of Francis Leach, son of Thomas Leach, late of London, Printer, decd shows that your petitions house on Saffron Hill has been a printing house 140 years and upwards & your petitioners mother being also lately decd. The right of printing is lawfully come to your petitioner & he beseecheth that your petitioner's father-in-law [stepfather] may follow the trade for the use of your petitioner & has small sisters until your petitioner shall be able to follow the same trade himself.
