DISLE or DISLEY (HENRY), draper and bookseller in London, 1576-80; St. Paul's Churchyard, at the South West Door of St. Paul's Church. Son of John Disle of London, draper. Apprentice to William Jones { JONES, William ( - 1574) ‹ LBT 08605 › } for thirteen years from Midsummer, 1563 [Arber, i. 198]. Henry Disle was the publisher of a collection of verse called The Pamdise of Dainty Devices His last book entry appears on January 26th, 1579/80 [Arber, ii. 364].
