DARE (GAUTIER), printer in London, 1560-2; Blackfriars. A Gualterus Derry, probably identical with this alien printer, was made Brother of the Stationers' Company on January 15th, 1559/60 [Arber, i. 126]. He was a native of Rouen, and is described in Kirk's Returns of Aliens as "typographus" [Worman, Alien Members, p. 14].
