Oct 1697 City Freedom Patrimony - COL/CHD/FR/02/0122
4 Oct 1697 Freed - Patrimony - father = John Darby (LBT/13041). McK gives his name as John and puts him under the younger John Darby [ST/1168]. The record of the City Freedom, however, makes it clear that it should be Thomas a son of John Darby (LBT/13041). See below -

Further Notes

No Thomas is mentioned in either the Will of John Darby (LBT/13041) or Joan Darby (LBT/03599), which may indicate that he was dead before 19 Feb 1702 or 1703 whenever John made his will. ---
