Sternhold's Certayn chapters of the proverbes of Salomon drawen into metre, for W. Seres { SERES, William ( - 1580) ‹ LBT 08396 › }. [B.M.] About the same time Nicholas Hyll { HILL, Nicholas ( - 1557) ‹ LBT 28420 › } printed for him The Pleasaunt, Playne and pythie Pathewaye, by V. L. In 1551 R. Crowley { CROWLEY, Robert rev. (1517 - 1588) ‹ LBT 07271 › } printed for him Poore Shakerley his knowledge of good and evil, and Herbert [II, 763], on the authority of Maunsell, quotes two other books. He was an original member of the Stationers' Company.
