BURRELL (JAMES), (?) printer in London, 1559; Without the North Gate of St. Paul's, in the corner house of Paternoster Row, opening into Cheapside. Only known from the colophon to a book entitled, A godly and wholsome preservative against desperation, 1559 [Herbert, p. 875]. He may have been a relative of John Borrell { BORRELL, John ‹ LBT 28431 › }, the stationer, who was an apprentice with Thomas Raynaldes { RAYNALD, Thomas ‹ LBT 00138 › } in 1541 [Duff, Century, p. 16].
