MLT Note: It would appear that Plomer conflates Maurice Atkins (LBT/14680) with his son Maurice Atkins (LBT/14034). We know that Martha Newborough (LBT/06640) who married Thomas Newborough (LBT/15447) had previously been married to an Atkins, and that she took a Maurice Atkins into partnership after Thomas Newborough's death. It would make sense if she had been Maurice Atkin's (LBT/14680) widow, and had taken her son (LBT/14034) into partnership.
