URBANUS VAN CUELEN, printer in London, is given in the Registers of the Dutch Church as a book-printer living in Smithfield. [R. of A., I, 209.] It is just possible that he may be identical with Urban Lynyng. [q.v.] {Cf. LYNYNG, Urban ‹ LBT 30052 › } On the accession of Mary he probably fled the country and is found at Emden in 1557. Later on he appears to have been employed by Christopher Plantin who gave him a certificate. [Certificats delivrés aux imprimeurs des Pays-Bas par Chr. Plantin. Publ. par Ph. Rombouts. Maatschappij der Antwerpsche Bibliophilen, Uitgave 10, 1881, p. 54.]
