Further Notes

Duff, E.G. (1905) - Duff also states that the wife of Dunstan Whaplane [LBT/8733] - Joan Sutton - was the widow of either Henry [LBT/8527] or Edward Sutton [LBT/8522]. As no other wife has yet emerged for Henry it has been assumed that she was the wife of Edward. McKerrow simply refers to her as the wife of Edward.
