Introduction
Samuel Streater was a member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was apprenticed to the printer Henry Bynneman from April 1581 and turned over to him, subsequently taking on his own apprentice Thomas Hawe in August 1584. Streater gained his freedom from the Stationers' Company in September 1584.
