Introduction
Henry Wall was a bookbinder and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was bound as an apprentice to Henry Conway on 24 June 1579 and gained his freedom through servitude on 4 July 1586. Wall subsequently took on five apprentices in the binding trade between 1589 and 1599, and was clothed (admitted to the livery) in 1594, establishing himself as an established master craftsman in the London book trade.
