TURNER or DE TOLNA (ADRIAN), printer in London, was a refugee from the Low Countries. In the Subsidy Roll of 1549 he is entered as an assistant to WaIter Lynne { LYNNE, Walter ‹ LBT 30051 › } living at St. Mary-at-Hill in Billingsgate Ward and is taxed eight pence. [R. of A., I, 161.] In the Registers of the Dutch Church he is entered as "Adrianus de Tolna familus Gualtery Lyns." [R. of A., I, 202.]
