Introduction
John Bechem was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the late sixteenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to John Harrison on 2 February 1589 and gained his freedom from servitude on 26 March 1596, following the standard seven-year apprenticeship term in the book trade.
