Introduction
Edward Haslatt was a bookbinder and member of the Stationers' Company in London. Bound as an apprentice to John Fylkyn in 1560, he gained his freedom in 1569 and subsequently took on three apprentices between 1582 and 1589, establishing himself as an established master craftsman in the book trade.
