Introduction
Christopher Dawson was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. He was freed by the Company on 14 November 1597, though no record of his binding survives. Dawson took on at least one apprentice in the book trade, training Edward Napper in binding from 1600 until his freedom in 1613.
