Introduction

Thomas Morley was a printer and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was bound as an apprentice to Thomas Dawson in October 1604 and gained his freedom through servitude in May 1612. In 1613, Morley signed the petition of the journeymen printers, indicating his continued involvement in the London printing trade during the early seventeenth century.
