Introduction

Parys Vandewe was a printer and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was apprenticed to the prominent printer Thomas Creede on 24 June 1604 and gained his freedom through servitude on 17 July 1611. In 1613, Vandewe signed the journeymen printers' petition, indicating his continued involvement in the printing trade.
