Introduction
Abraham Powell was an English printer and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was bound as an apprentice to the printer Henry Bynneman in February 1568, gaining entry into the London book trade during a significant period of printing expansion. Powell came from a family involved in the printing trade, with his father William Powell and his sibling Henry Middleton also working as printers.
