VEALE (ABRAHAM), printer in London, was a member of the Drapers' Company and also admitted a brother of the Stationers' Company. He began to print about 1548 and issued a considerable number of books. In 1566 he turned over his printing office to William How { HOWE, William ( - 1600) ‹ LBT 07792 › } who continued to print for him, and confined his attention to publishing and bookselling up to the year 1586, after which date he is not heard of. His place of business throughout his career was at the sign of the Lamb in St. Paul's Churchyard.
