BATES (SARAH), bookseller in London, Sun and Bible, Giltspur Street near Pye Corner, 1719-20. Almost certainly the widow of C. Bates { BATES, Charles ( - 1716) ‹ LBT 12267 › }. [B.M. 12403. a. 19.] She published an undated edition of the latter in partnership with A. Bettesworth { BETTESWORTH, Arthur ( - 1739) ‹ LBT 11298 › } and C.
