SHEREMAN (JOHN) was an original member of the Stationers' Company and was made free on October 8th, 1555. He is entered several times as subscribing to the Company and was twice fined, once for misnaming a brother, William Hill { HILL, William ‹ LBT 07740 › } and again for printing a ballad without license. He is last mentioned in 1559.
