SKELTON (HENRY), bookseller in London, 1623-34; (1) A little within Aldgate; (2) In Little Britain. Took up his freedom May 3rd, 1620. His first book entry was made on January 16th, 1622/3 [Arber, iii. 685; iv. 89], and the last heard of him is on July 2nd, 1634, when he transferred one of his copyrights to Thomas Payne { PAINE, Thomas ‹ LBT 08955 › } [Arber, iv. 322].
