Son of Richard Jones { JONES, Richard ‹ LBT 07865 › }, printer. Admitted a freeman" by patrimony" August 16th, 1596. His first book entry is found in the Registers on May 8th, 1617 [Arber, iii. 608]. On August 24th, 1633, he assigned his copyrights to Augustine Mathews { MATHEWES, Augustine ‹ LBT 09007 › } [Arber, iv. 307], but his name is found in books as late as 1637.
