== Introduction ==
<div style="width:90ch;">
Thomas Greene was a bookseller in London active during the mid-seventeenth century. He was apprenticed to William Jaggard, the prominent printer and member of the Stationers' Company, beginning in 1602 for an eight-year term, though no record of his taking up freedom in the company survives. Greene is known from a 1643 imprint for a pamphlet titled A Chaleng sent from Prince Rupert and the Lord Grandison, to Sir William Belford, printed for his account.
