== Introduction ==
<div style="width:90ch;">
Henry Dunne was a bookbinder and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He gained his freedom through redemption in 1598 and subsequently took on five apprentices between 1599 and 1608, several of whom were bound to the art of music rather than the traditional stationers' trade. His professional activity is documented through his apprenticeship bindings recorded in the Stationers' Company archive.
