<div style="width:90ch;">
John Boulter was a printer and member of the Stationers' Company who specialized in printing Catholic books. He served as a servant to printer John Danter and assisted William Wrench in Catholic printing work, for which he was arrested but later pardoned through the intervention of Richard Bancroft. Boulter was freed from his apprenticeship in 1602 and remained active in the London book trade for several decades, receiving loans from company bequests through at least 1645. He had a son, William Boulter, who was freed by patrimony in 1624.
